Summary.
Since 1994, AQA-Tooling Corporation and its predecessor company has had offices in China to manage purchases for North American and European customers. Over the years we have been accumulating experience, devoting resources to in-house training, and patiently assembling our systems and procedures so that experiences are remembered for future application. The necessary minimal knowledge for operating a sourcing program overseas is knowledge of the industry, the manner of conducting business, and the relevant regulations.  These are easily acquired in a matter of months. However, the benefits of experiences ( some good but mostly bad) and the development of important contacts can come only with time, as measured in years.
